Leah's Maternity Session || San Juan Capistrano

Leah reached out to me to book her newborn photo session when she was just a few months along in her pregnancy! I love moms who are so ahead of the game! It makes scheduling so much easier for both of us (although I can usually still fit in last minute bookings!). I ordered this gorgeous new, lace maternity gown that I’ve had my eye on for ages, and finally pulled the trigger. I have a client warddrobe consisting of about 20 different maternity gowns, and I like to continue to add to it. I wanted to get this latest dress onto a new mama, so I could see it in action!

When Leah asked about maternity photos, in addition to her newborn, I was thrilled to be able to offer my new gown. She was the most willing participant ever, and basically let me dress her up like a gorgeous, pregnant barbie! I brought 3 different dresses, and selected an old favorite location of mine, in San Juan Capistrano. We are basically past springtime now, so the grasses and leaves have dried up giving a warm summer glow to everything. And the sunlight was especially beautiful this evening; so warm and glowing.

She is such a stunning mama, with just the cutest little bump! I had a great time just posing her and letting the light shine through. In addition to my gorgeous new lace dress, I also added a light blue gown, and Leah was kind enough to model that one for me as well. For her third look, we decided on a dramatic pink dress, sine Leah is expecting a little girl. Plus, that pink gown from Miss Madison is just so pretty! I can’t wait to meet her little baby girl when she arrives!
