Orange County Photography | Brady Family
As an Orange County photographer, I am lucky to have the opportunity to meet and work with so many awesome families. This particular one was extra special, and had a little added pressure to do a good job.
Melissa is a fellow photographer in the Mission Viejo area, and like me, works another full time job as well. We met a few years ago, at an Orange County photographer meet up, and we realized how much we had in common. Earlier this year, our little girls started going to the same preschool, and are even in the same class. (PS, isn't Elianna a little doll???).
As we both started thinking about the upcoming holiday season, we thought it might be fun to swap family photo sessions. It's always a little nerve-wracking every time I do a new session, as I always want my clients to love their photos. However, with a fellow photographer on the receiving end, the pressure was higher than ever. She would notice every single thing about the photos that someone else might miss.
However, I was thrilled with the results! We had so much fun at an early morning session at one of my newest favorite places to shoot in Irvine, Ca. This park has it all: Bridges, tunnels, grass, paths... you name it! And since we went early in the morning for this session, it wasn't even as crowded as normal.
The kiddos were so well-behaved, and they let me pose them and direct them. Mom and dad definitely got into the fun, and took a few moments to laugh and dance (even if they thought it was silly!). When all was said and done. I think this might have been one one my favorite sessions. They looked fantastic in navy blue and mustard yellow, and the light was perfectly peaking through the clouds.
This session was taken at the Irvine Jeffery Trail, in Orange County, Ca. The images were taken with a Canon 5d Mark III, primarily using an 85mm lens.
